Delicious & easy organic raw vegan chocolate brownies
These organic raw vegan chocolate brownies are the perfect easy raw vegan chocolate recipe to share with friends and family for any occasion. All organic ingredients can be easily sourced from in bulk from your closest health food grocer! (Original recipe adapted from the wonderfully inspiring Minimalist Baker ♡)!
Ingredients
Chocolate Brownie
- 2 & 1/2 cups Dates Pitted & soaked for 10mins in warm water
- 3/4 cups Raw cacao powder
- 1 cup Walnuts Optional
Frosting
- 1 cup Non-dairy chocolate Melted
- 1/4 cup Non-dairy mylk E.g. almond, coconut, soy
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil Melted
- 2 tbsp Rice malt syrup
- 1/3 cup Walnuts Optional - for topping

Instructions
Chocolate Brownie
- Line a baking tin with baking paper and set aside.
- Blitz walnuts in food processor till finely ground (if using). Then add raw cacao powder to processor, pulse till combined and set aside in a separate bowl.
- Blitz dates in food processor into small pieces then slowly combine dates till a dough consistency is achieved.
- Transfer dough to lined baking tray and flatten by pressing down firmly (use baking paper as an aid if extra is available).
- Cut brownie dough in half and place the layers on top of each other pressing down firmly using the baking paper from the other side to hold the shape.
- Place in fridge to harden for 10-15mins, remove, frost and cut into serves as desired.
Frosting
- Heat almond milk till warm (use stove top or microwave) and add melted chocolate.
- Add liquid coconut oil and malt syrup to mixture and whisk briefly before setting aside in fridge to harden (approx. 5 mins).
- Frost and top brownies as desired.
Recipe Notes
- Store within an airtight container and eat within 4 days at room temperature or within 1 month if kept in freezer.
