- 1/2 cup Filtered water
- 1/2 cup Coconut milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 tsp Raw cacao powder (available from the Little Shipping Co.)
- 1 tsp Organic vanilla bean paste (available at our online store)
- 1/2 tsp Organic ground chilli (available at our online store)
- 1/2 tsp Organic ground ginger (available at our online store)
- 1 tsp Organic cinnamon powder (opt for Ceylon variety for sweetness)
- 1 tsp Agave syrup (or sweeter of choice, to taste)
- 1 tsp Cacao nibs (to serve, optional)
- Heat water in a small pot over medium heat. Add cacao and spices and let simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Add coconut milk and agave syrup (or sweetner) and let simmer until desired flavour profile is reached.
- Strain into glasses if necessary and top with cacao nibs if using.
